Baby room with stuff in it!

Paul has been working hard at putting away all of the baby stuff we received from the showers. The baby room looks more like a baby room. Now all we need is a baby! (But hopefully not for another couple of weeks.)

Okay, I guess maybe it still isn’t the most exciting baby room… but it will be just fine for little Sandwiches.

We haven’t been doing too much… just resting and trying to get everything cleaned and washed. Everyone keeps telling me that I should get out while I still can, but I’d rather just stay at home and have food brought to me. Kinda like Jabba the Hut. Oh, but we did attend a Japanese concert this weekend. UB took us to see Naoko Ken. She seemed pretty funny (she only spoke in Japanese, so I’m not sure what she was saying) and she sang about 12 songs. There were a few video clips about Naoko and about the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington (it was a fundraising concert). It was funny when they interviewed someone who spoke English because I’d get excited that finally I’d understand part of it, and then the video would fade out their voice and speak Japanese over it. Nuts. Oh well, it was a fun night out on the town.

Here is a picture of me at 36 weeks. I think I’m bigger than I look, but you can kind of see how the baby is sitting lower now. Makes for uncomfortable walking.

Happy birthday to my brother David! He turns THIRTY! Whoa. 😉

And happy birthday to little Megan and to her mom Steph! I hope Pandy has lots of special stuff planned for you both!
