Faraway Friends

This is my friend Mandy (and her boyfriend Jason). We were in the same college classes (Jason too) and I think we were meant to be friends. She lives here and I like hanging out with her.

Mandy is a pretty sneaky person. She sent out this invite to our faraway pals and I didn’t even know about it.

The faraway friends sent baby shower pics and presents to Mandy. She put the pics together in this nicely crafted album.

Then Mandy stopped by my apartment, carrying the album and all the baby shower gifts. It was one of the best surprises because I really miss all of the college peeps.

First up, all the way from Illinois: the Aggster and Riley guessing how big the belly is.

From the ‘Nati, Chris & Maren! I really liked their pic. (They know how to appeal to the preggie in me.)

And of course, our old roommate Stine & her hubby Tim. Maybe the next to have a baby? Yeah?

There was a whole series of photos from Ariana and Gwen! This is one of my favorites.

Jamus has the cutest little ewok pup, Pixel. They did the belly size game. I think my belly is a tad bigger than Pixel’s.

And look at this girl… she thinks it’s summertime. I guess if you live in LA, it’s always summertime. Yup– the lovely Anita with her girly ribbon!
