Huh?

Okay, so I’m at work and I have a ton of work to do. But I thought that I’d quickly post while lunching because I have something on my mind.

I went to the doctor today. After examining me, she tells me that her goal is to get me to 37 weeks. And I think I said something like, “Huh?” She goes on and says that if I start having contractions before then, she won’t stop me from having the baby, but that hopefully I’ll have the baby at 37 weeks (1.5 weeks from now). Slowly I figure out that she is telling me that I’ll probably be delivering before my due date, as opposed to after my due date. I didn’t really realize how much I was banking on delivering late until now. And you know, it would be so “Paul & Kara” of us to have this baby early because we are sooo not ready yet. Or at least, I’m not. I guess no more Brain Age for me.

I really need to get back to work.
