Six (Remember Six on Blossom?)

As cousin Liam reaches 6 months, little Toshi Anne is now 6 six weeks! I heard that 6 weeks is the peak of fussiness and that things will start to get easier now.

If things go the way they have for the past couple of days, then I think things are getting better. Toshi slept for 4 hours, then 3 hours for the past two nights. Yesterday was the best day. Paul took care of Toshi in the morning, so I could sleep a little longer. Then I made a doctor appointment because I was worried about her diapers. The doctor said that her diapers were fine for now and confirmed her mild case of eczema. Also, Toshi is officially weighing in at 10 lbs 6.5 oz. Since we were out and about, Paul and I decided to stop at the grocery store. We didn’t really know what we needed (and Toshi started to get a little fussy) so we grabbed some wine and paper towels. You know, the essentials. Then Paul drove us around a little… through Golden Gardens. By the time we got home, Toshi was fast asleep. She slept pretty much the rest of the night. Paul and I watched Bourne Ultimatum with the subtitles turned on. I liked it.

So basically, our day consisted of holding Toshi and admiring her while she slept. A sleeping baby is a beautiful, wonderful thing. We also had some chuckles as Paul played with Toshi and helped her dance. She has been pretty good and a bit more smiley. But I hope writing that doesn’t jinx anything…

Anyway, since I don’t have any new exciting pics, I thought I’d post some that I found on my computer. The first one is of me with my dad and brother. The other one is of Toshi and her cousins Emma, Norah, and Caitlyn. And last, but certainly not least, is a pic of the birthday boy Moe!
