And the winner is…

Paul and I had a little battle of the bands… kind of. We were trying to figure out Toshi’s favorite song, so we were singing what we thought was her favorite song to see which one she liked better. Paul sang “Hey Jude” to Toshi – she smiled. I sang “Row Row Row Your Boat” – nothing. He sang “Hey Jude” again – more smiles. I sang “RRRYB” – still nothing. This went on for a few more rounds until I finally tried TTLS… still nothing. So I gave in. I guess Toshi has mature taste for her age.
I also declared today Family Fun Day. We ventured to the Seattle Center at about 10:30am. It wasn’t really as happening as I thought it would be. We walked around, saw a Chinese Drill Team march in place, scoffed at the $1/slide, and discovered Toshi liked the changing table that had a mirror next to it. In the afternoon, we did Family Fun Day Part II: the Farmers Market. We finished that in about 10 minutes. So we walked around the neighborhood until I got tired. On our way back to the apartment, I asked Toshi if she could tell a difference between today (Family Fun Day) and yesterday (we ran errands). She didn’t answer, but I think she sensed a difference. Or at least, she knew that today the sun was in her eyes more. (Although yesterday was overcast and rainy.)
Anyway, here are Toshi pics! She is now 15 lbs, 8 oz. I think she likes her exersaucer…. she doesn’t really smile when she’s playing in it. I think she is learning and figuring out what does what. I like to think of it as her work station.
