Too much sun!

Today was hot and sunny. A little too sunny… (Maybe I’ve gotten too used to Seattle.) This afternoon, we put Toshi in her sun hat and buckled her into her stroller. We walked through the crowded locks, and headed up the Magnolia hill towards Discovery Park. It was hot! There wasn’t enough shade. Poor Toshi was in the sun, so we covered her with her stroller awnings. Once we made it up the hill, I could see that there was another hill in the sun to climb before we even saw any sign of Discovery Park. Paul asked for the decision, and I told him it was time to turn around. I get so irritated in the heat. I think it runs in my family? Anyway, we went back through the locks and found some shade in the park. By the time we got back to the apartment, I was so happy to be out of the sun. It’s too hot!

Now I’m looking forward to a delicious meal my little bro is making. It involves homemade bread, shrimp, basil, pasta… followed by some Molly Moon ice cream! The flavors are weird: balsamic strawberry and honey lavender. Hooray for little bro!
