Doctor stats

On Monday, my mom, Toshi and I went to the doctor. Toshi is growing just fine. She is 21 lbs, 10.5 oz and 29.5″ long. She is in the 65th percentile for height and weight, and her head is measuring in the 97th percentile. Poor Toshi also braved 4 shots. I always get worried about the side effects of the vaccines. She seemed fine until the next day, when she refused to drink most of her milk and was crying all morning. Hopefully that was the worst of it.

I didn’t realize that my mom took photos at the doctor’s office.

I also wanted to include some pics of a couple of things that were made for the time capsule. My brother drew this family portrait.

There were so many cool entries… a CD, some good letters (Katie’s was pretty funny), my dad’s frat pin, a little kimono girl, a cool photo album, and lots of Obama newspapers from UB. We’ll be adding more stuff, since I haven’t even written my letter and I haven’t found a box for the time capsule yet.

My mom also brought a couple pics of me when I was little. Here is the picture of me with just a dab of ashes on my face (but they are right by the mouth!) and a picture of me at 1 year old.

Yesterday she looked so cute in her new gray outfit. These pictures don’t do it justice– it was so cute! And yes, those are tears. She was walking toward me to touch the camera, and she fell and her cheek hit my knee. You can see her rosy cheek. 🙁
