It’s so cold here that there is snow on the ground! That’s right– snow is sticking to the ground. It may seem like normal winter to most people, but it’s pretty rare that there is snow in this city. I recently decided I needed something warmer than my windbreaker, so I got out my Seattle winter coat: a heavy black raincoat. But today, I felt so cold inside the apartment, that I decided to get out my midwest winter coat: a white puffy jacket. I think it’s the second time I’ve worn that jacket since we’ve been here (nearly 3 years). When we went outside I was chilled to the bone. I wanted to turn around and go back inside, but I toughed it out so Toshi could see the snow.

Toshi was all gussied up in her heavy shiny red jacket and black patent booties. She didn’t seem phased by the cold, but she kept stepping into the snow and shrieking and stepping out of the snow. She also had fun walking up and down icy stairs with Paul.

Yup, a blog about weather. As you can see, not much is happening! We are getting pumped for our travels back to the midwest for the holidays. That’s about it!
