Hard at play

Toshi is doing so many new things… I never know if it’s something she’s thought up or something that Paul has been teaching her.

Our days have been consisting of plane watching, bubble popping, coloring, puzzle solving, playing with magnetic sticks/balls and forming them into little dumbbells while shouting, “HEAVY!”, singing Ba Ba Black Sheep/I’m a Little Tea Pot/Itsy Bitsy Spider, dancing to my made up songs, trying to stand on the rocking chair (no no), bowling, and running under tents.

She recently started to feed her bear. She holds her sippy cup up to Bear’s mouth and makes smacking noises and then pulls the cup away and says, “Ahhhhhhh.”

I am also incredibly proud that I made her laugh so hard, she had a couple of tears! We were playing a variation of peek-a-boo with the couch pillow.

P.S. I forgot to mention that Toshi is calling herself either “Tih” (just the sound the letter T makes) or “Tee.” It makes me chuckle because it seems like a nickname.
