Maybe it’s almost summer

I know I shouldn’t expect nice days until July, but it’s been pretty sunny here. This past weekend we took advantage of it and did a lot of outside playing. We had a nice bbq for Ciara’s birthday, where I saw how fascinated and frightened Toshi was of Strider the dog. Then on Sunday we went to the park for a nice walk. Later that day we went to the skate bowl park where they have fountains for little kids. Toshi loved it. By then I was exhausted and I remembered how I never like parades as much as I think I should. So Paul took Toshi to see the Norwegian parade, while I stayed at home and vacuumed (and maybe played a little Brain Age 2).

And this weekend we look forward to a visit from Paul’s parents! It’s been a while since we’ve seen them and I’m sure Toshi will have so much fun playing with them and showing them all her new tricks (like climbing on tables and turning the DVD player on).
