Slippery!

Yesterday at the playground, Toshi was walking up the slide but her shoes kept slipping. I said to be careful because the slide was slippery. She started cracking up. I don’t know what it is about the word, but she thinks it is hilarious. And it’s even funnier when someone falls down.

Today I found that I could quickly turn a tantrum into a laugh riot by asking her if the floor was slippery when she collapses on the floor for her arm-flailing, head-banging tantrum. She really enjoyed both of us pretending to fall on the slippery carpet. So when she woke up from her nap, I decided to see if she would think her bed was slippery as well.
