Pumpkin Patch
Posted by kara
Yesterday we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It turned out to be nice weather (almost too sunny). It seemed like Toshi enjoyed it more this year, or at least she understood what was going on.
We did the following:
1. Ate apple cider donuts (Toshi didn’t like it), fresh corn on the cob (Toshi couldn’t figure out how to bite it off), drank cider (Toshi really did not like that). Since Toshi didn’t like any of the food, she ran off and
2. Looked at the big apples growing along the fence.
3. Walked through the petting zoo (a lot yuckier/sadder/creepier than I remembered).
4. Rode the tractor wagon. (I think she liked it for the first half, and then she kept asking to get off.)
5. Played at the playground.
6. Went to the gift shop.
7. Bought pumpkin pie.
8. Walked through the pumpkin patch.
It was nice. I realized that I pretty much only look forward to the cider and donuts.
Toshi’s Xavier t-shirt got a little stuck around her big head. Paul called it her helmet for her makeshift box wagon and she loved it.
