Birthday and Bears

Toshi’s Seattle birthday party was great. I spent several hours making and icing a sugary yellow cake from scratch. I wrote on it, “She’s 2,” which was a weak play on the Thomas song that goes, “They’re 2, they’re 4, they’re 6, they’re 8…” Anyway, we had the party at my aunt’s house, as it was Katie’s 16th birthday party as well.

I also totally forgot about these photos. I was going to use one of them for a Christmas card, but then I did our cards last night in a matter of minutes (thanks, Jamus!). These pics aren’t that great anyway!

Yesterday we joined the family downtown for an afternoon of bears, the carousel, and a touch of shopping. Looking forward to Christmas!
