Tough Toshi

I wasn’t going to write about her doctor’s appointment, but I figured I should document it. She is still in the 60th percentile for height (34.25″) and weight (27lbs 1oz) and tops out in the 95th percentile for head (50 cm). That’s our girl. Or, maybe if she were shorter… that would also be appropriate.

Anyway, she was a very good girl. She was shy at first, but after a while she started running back and forth over the 4 color square tiles. I was pretty proud when she named the colors correctly, but I don’t think the doctor was listening. She is right on track for her development and had a very easy appointment. The nurse came back for the 3 shots. First shot: no reaction. Second shot: tensed up. Third shot: tensed up more. Tada! No tears, no frowning. She even thanked the nurse when I prompted her. On our way out the door, she carried her yogurt melts and said bye to everyone. I was so proud of her.

And to top it all off, a 2 hr 15 min nap and she almost ate all of dinner (just not the spinach). Thank you, Toshi.
