My sweet girl

Quick story: Yesterday I was feeling a little sick, so I was laying in bed (maybe doing a little kakuro). It was Toshi’s bedtime, so she came in to say goodnight. I gave her a kiss and said to sleep tight. She kept saying, “Goodnight, Mama.” And then as she walked away, she remembered that she didn’t give me a kiss. So she walked back and gave me a kiss. Then she went into her room with Paul. A few seconds later, she emerged from her room with a book in her hand. She said it was Mommy’s favorite book and wanted to read it to me. So Paul and Toshi read me the book to help put me to sleep. So sweet! Then she finished the rest of her bedtime routine in her room. I thought it was so nice of her to think of me.
