Whatcha talking about?

Toshi uses these phrases a lot:
Whatcha talking about?
Whatcha doing?

You may think she’s being curious, but I have the suspicion that she uses these questions to point out that you are not talking to her and that you are not playing with her. I guess it’s nicer than when she says, “Stop talking!” It’s funny being the grown-up and finding the grown-up conversation interesting. I remember always thinking the grown-ups were being so boring talking about grown-up stuff.

I feel like she has become a little kid over this weekend. She looks more stretched out (might be from the puking yesterday), her hair looks longer, her face looks less babyish, and she talks and moves like a little kid. It’s so strange to realize she is not a little baby, or even a toddler. And these changes will be even more apparent once the new little baby arrives.

Here are some pics. Somehow my mom managed to not get in any photos! I stole the David/Gus one from my mom’s camera. I think it is funny because Gus looks so tiny! And Toshi has quite a nice camera smile…
