Letters

We’ve been talking more about letters recently. For some reason, Toshi likes the sequence, “T-O-S-Y-Z.” Then sometimes she switches to numbers after the Z. Anyway, sometimes she knows which letters are which, but other times she doesn’t. What I thought was really cool, was when she drew me a sign today. She said the sign said, “Time to play.” I could see that she understood that letters are their own characters and a group of them make up words. Here is the letter:

She also threw Meow Mix on the couch and insisted I take a picture of him.

And of course, she wanted to see her picture too. The second picture is after I told her to smile.
