Ariana’s visit

Ariana came to visit! She stayed with Mandy, but I got to see her every day.

Friday: Toshi and I picked up Ariana at the airport. Toshi fell asleep in the car. We needed to grab lunch, so Ariana ran into Panera and got us some take out. (We also needed to get Mandy’s goetta into the fridge, so I think it worked out well.) After lunch, Toshi tried to get “this guy” (Ariana) to play Lazytown with her. It worked and we were all running around the house. Ariana is so tall that Toshi was able to run between her legs without any trouble. Toshi then did not take her nap, because of the car nap, but I got a little bit of talking in with Ariana. Mandy came over soon after and we all played driving-in-the-car-no-laughing-allowed for a bit. Toshi had decided to wear her fancy shoes that day, because she thought she was going to see Mandy. I thought that was cute.

Saturday: Beautiful day for the beach. We met up with the girls at the beach for a bit. Again, Toshi wanted to wear her fancy shoes, but Paul said no. So instead, Toshi wore one of her bow hairclips, which she NEVER chooses to wear. At the beach, she played a lot with Ariana and tried to get Ariana to follow her around.

Sunday: Sex & the City 2 day! We sat next to a whole row of guys… not sure why they were there! The movie was entertaining and definitely had some LOL parts. The clothes were hit and miss (a tad more miss than hit). I think there were 2 character flaws, but I guess SatC2 is not really made for analyzing. Anyway, it was fun.

Monday: Ariana came over for the morning and played with Toshi. Toshi adored Ariana and even told her she loved her! She had so much fun, and I think she even got worn out: Toshi slept all the way to and from the airport!

It was so good to see Ariana, even if it was for short bits. I miss that girl and always love our talks.
