Week 39

Well, I’ve got nothing. So I figured I’d post another belly pic and hope it was the last. I went to the doctor today. It was the quickest appointment ever. Still 3 cm dilated, still nothing happening. My comfort level varies throughout the day, and today wasn’t a bad day. I think I went from being really pumped about getting this baby out, back to being a little bit scared again. I just need to not think about it, but it’s hard when I’m just waiting around.

Anyway, my super awesome friends threw a surprise baby shower for me. I couldn’t believe it! They totally did not need to do that, and it was so sweet of them. Even Toshi reaped some rewards! They even made a really funny & sweet book (complied by Jamus) called Predictions: Mealy Baby 2.0. I was thinking about posting some pics, but I’m too lazy to do a real photo shoot. So here is the cover and one spread that relates to this belly pic post.

And here is my belly. And yes, I’m wearing a tank top and Paul’s boxer shorts. And yes, this is what I wore all day today after I got home from the doctor’s office.
