First Day of Preschool

Posted by kara

Well, I got her to school… in Pull-Ups. I’m a little nervous because she didn’t poop this morning. That usually means an after lunch poop… which means she’ll either hold it or poop in her Pull-Ups. I think the teacher didn’t look so thrilled when I left some extra Pull-Ups and wipes.

I packed her lunch this morning. I used zip-lock bags, which she can usually open. I added tabs using tape so she could find where the sides pull apart. Not sure if it will work. I really must find some open-able containers if she is going to continue this school.

Yeah, so this morning she was still saying she didn’t want to go to school. It was usually when I said something like, “You have to listen to the teacher,” or “The teacher will help you go potty.” So I think she just didn’t want to use the potty. I’m really curious to see how today goes. I have a feeling she won’t use the potty for them either.

I also think I saw the boy who pushed her (at orientation) in her classroom. There were two blonde boys in the room and one of them was probably him. However, it looked like there were only six kids in her class, so that shouldn’t be too crazy. Three girls, three boys.

When I left her, she didn’t seem to care that I was leaving. I hope it goes well! It was weird driving home without her. It’s nice having Martha. And now I can do things like take walks or clean or whatever Martha will let me do! Please let this preschool thing work out!
