Mission Accomplished

If Savvy’s mission was to make us all realize the awesomeness of her boyfriend Eoin, well, her mission was accomplished. For some reason, Toshi kept calling Eoin “Johnson.” Luckily Eoin didn’t mind. He was a very good sport about everything… playing with Toshi, being told to read books, playing with Meow Mix… Toshi pretty much fell in love. And she took to Savvy too, of course. I didn’t take any pictures, but I hope I’ll always remember how cute they looked together while Savvy read Toshi a book on the couch. Toshi just leaned on Sav and listened. I love how my friends are Toshi’s heroes.
For those of you [J4] who want the Eoin gossip: he is all those good adjectives you use to describe a good person. My favorite thing about him is that he’s so pleasant and easy to be around. Yeah, we’re all Eoin fans over here.
We pretty much just hung out on Thursday. It was nice. Toshi kept them busy. We got a little talking in. But you know, Savvy is one of those friends that I’ll always just be happy to be in the same room as her.
On Friday, we met Sav and Eoin at the aquarium. (They spent the morning exploring the market and downtown while I got the girls napped, fed, and ready.) It was a nice outing. I think I’m pretty much over my fish phobia… at least when I’m safe behind a thick glass separating me from those scary fish. Later that day, poor Toshi didn’t want to say good-bye. I was prepared to offer her many a Hershey’s kiss, but she handled the good-bye just fine. I walked away to check my email, and when I walked back, she at the front window, waving manically at her new friends. It was soooo cute. I usually prompt her to wave, but this she did all on her own. Man… mission accomplished!
And yeah, no pics. Sorry!
