Future flower girl!

Auntie Jamus asked Toshi to be her flower girl! Toshi will be so excited once she realizes what is going to happen. I’ve ordered a flower girl story book that we’ll read to prep her. She already has attended one wedding (which I think is pretty good considering she’s 15 months old) and she has four cousins who can give her flower girl tips. The wedding is in October, so Toshi will be just shy of two years. I hope by then she’ll take direction well and still not mind a room full of strangers. I think if the wedding were right now, she’d end up saying hi to everyone sitting near the aisle, and we’d have to place her teddy bear at the end of the aisle so she’d walk down it. Anyway, it will all work out!

Toshi is learning so fast. Suddenly she’ll do things that I didn’t really notice I was doing. Like when we read the body parts book, I’ll wiggle my fingers when I say, “Under my mittens are fingers.” And yesterday, she started wiggling her fingers too! She is just the perfect size too. Still baby-like, but a little sturdier. I am really enjoying this age.

I finally got a bunch of video off the camera. I had to clean off my computer a bit to make room for it.

This video shows off her robust vocals. I guess she must take after me and my low laugh.

I tried to catch this game Toshi and her dad were playing… but I think I always miss out on the really loud laughs while I’m trying to discreetly turn on the camera.
