Today Mandy turns 348 months old… and Toshi turns 20 months old. 20 sounds so old to me! (348 sounds young?)

Toshiko’s no longer the baby that she proclaims to be… she is definitely a crazy toddler. She is learning words and how to use them quicker than ever. She knows what she wants, but I think she’s always been like that. The difference is now she can throw a fit if she doesn’t get it. You’d think it was the end of the world if you saw her reaction when she doesn’t immediately get what she wants. Maybe we just had a long day today because she only took an hour nap. Usually she is pretty good and happy. She loves to play chase, but gets really really close to running into walls and corners. Here at the house, there are more sirens and less airplanes. So her new thing is to say “truck siren” whenever she hears a siren. And then she’ll scream, “Woooooo WOOOO wooooo WOOOOO!” It’s pretty cute and I’m glad I don’t have to worry about the neighbors being noise-sensitive.

Yesterday I took some pics because I thought she looked different when she woke up from her nap. I can’t decide if it’s just her hair or her nose… She’s back to looking the same today.
