As Savy pointed out, today Toshi is 1 month old! I guess the first month did go by pretty quickly.

My family arrived this morning. It was a frenzy of cameras. If you look closely, everyone has a camera in their hand except for my mom, who put hers down to hold Toshi.

So my mom had Toshi first, then my dad had her. By the time I got the camera, my mom had moved Toshi to Uncle David.

Then my mom moved Toshi to Aunt Molly.

Then to Uncle Paul. (Sorry, no pic.) By that time, my mom felt she had shared Toshi enough and grabbed her back.

Today we piled in the rented van and went to Pike Place Market. We had delicious soups and sandwiches at Beechers (where they make their own cheese), and little donuts at the donut place. After the market, we went to Uwajimaya for a quick stop.

Everyone is exhausted, but the eating is not done. We are trying to figure out what to have for dinner, and I think it is decided that we are having cupcakes for dessert. Yum!
