Boogey Marf
Posted by kara
Paul started calling Martha “Boogey Marf.” I like it. I asked him if it was because she always moves her legs like crazy when you hold her. He said it was because Toshi always says in her crazy voice, “Boogey boogey boogey!” to Martha. [Will try to get crazy voice on video.]
Anyway, we had a wonderful fun family weekend. Paul is the best. He encouraged me to find some things I wanted to do this weekend. We met up with Paul’s friend Bob and his daughter Charlie at the zoo. I rode the carousel with Toshi (and had a slightly embarrassing moment when I tried to put her on a tall horse but couldn’t get her up there because it was way higher than my arm reach). We ordered pizza and Toshi picked it up with me, which always makes it more fun. We went out for breakfast, went to a park we haven’t been to before, and went on a walk to get gelato. So nice. Boogey Marf was a good sport about everything. Soon she’ll enjoy things, but for now she just enjoys them from her car seat, the baby carrier, or our arms.
