The Super Mega Foxy Awesome Hot Christmas

Hmmmm not sure that works as a Christmas description, but I’m sure my cousins will appreciate the reference. Anyway, it was a great Christmas. And I have lots of pics, thanks to my iPhone and my mom. We flew back to Ohio for a nice long stay with lots of family fun and some good friends’ visits! [Mom, you may want to check your camera lens. Looks like Toshi smudged it when playing with it.]
Pre-Christmas includes decorating kids’ tree, making the gingerbread house, and visiting Children’s Wonderland.

Aunt Janet’s surprise birthday party (this brings the cake total to 3)

Christmas Eve (Wontons were fab. I went back for thirds and they were gone.)

Christmas morning (Marf liked unwrapping gifts, Toshi played with her Cars figurines for about 20 mins, then wanted to spend the rest of her trip in the Tinkerbell costume.)

Christmas dessert! Well, it was quite a treat to see my Jamus! (And Mark, Pixel, Amanda, Anita, and Jim of course!)

I distracted Gus with my iPhone and sneaked in close enough to get a pic of the two of us! Favorite Aunt right here!

Makin’ mochi (Toshiko liked pulling Great Grandma’s wrinkles on her hands.)

This is how Marf spent her Toledo visit: sticking bows to the fireplace (my dad taught her this), carrying glow sticks around, and pressing the singing snowman toy. Oh, and not sleeping.

Indy Christmas: We had a great time visiting Indy. Hempsteads were the best hosts ever. So good to see the fam and meet baby Thomas.

Anita, Paul, Lyla and Henry came to visit. Marf didn’t like that I kept trying to get Henry’s attention. Those kids may look super cute in pics, but they are even cuter in person! I kid you not.

And there ends our trip. A great end to a great year. Looking forward to the New Year!
