Christmas 2012

Christmas was very popular this year. Marf was excited, and Toshi was ecstatic. After the millions of Christmasy things we did, we were pretty low-key the weekend before Christmas.
Toshi left a drawing for Santa, along with three cookies and milk.
Toshi got a scooter, Aurora Barbie, Doc McStuffins doll, a couple of Barbies, Princess Wii game, kid camera, Cinderella DVD, diary, and games. She tore through her presents.
Marf got a toddler bed, purple ukulele, pretend ice cream, cashier toy, a Diego toy, a zoo toy, and other fun stuff. She enjoyed unwrapping, and sometime would stop if she came to a cardboard box. She’d ask to open the next gift and we’d tell her to open up the box first!
I think the big present was Omagles! Both Paul and I had these growing up and we both loved them. In my house we called them Om-ah-guls. In his house they called them Oh-may-guls. Anyway, you can build lots of big stuff with them. So fun!
It was a nice, relaxing Christmas. We ordered Chinese food this year, which might be a good tradition (because it is so pressure-free)! We were happy to be with my aunt/uncles/cousins/friends. However, we always miss everyone that we don’t see. Hope yours was merry too!
