Playdate…

…for parents! We’ve been teasing the kids, telling them that we are going to do fun stuff while they are at school. (We are totally winning the good parent award.) While we didn’t play with all their toys, we did get a quick game of golf in.

We went to a par 3 course, which is just about perfect for me. I believe I beat Paul for the first time…on one hole. Heh. Counts.

Lately I’ve been betting furniture while we play. It’s kind of like our own version of The Price Is Right. I’ll say, “We are getting the table [the West Elm one I showed him over the weekend] if I get a hole in one or a hole in two.” He’ll agree, a little too quickly for my ego, but I guess I haven’t won any furniture to date. Ah well. Someday it could totally happen.
