Roly poly

This evening, Toshi rolled over three or four times. The only thing is that her arm gets stuck underneath her. And she is usually sucking on her hand or an object, so it gets really uncomfortable for her. She’ll start to cry and only stop when I either move her arm from under her or roll her onto her back. I’m kind of surprised how exciting it is to watch her roll.

I’m happy to report that she is getting better at tummy time. She still spits up almost every time, but at least she is holding her head up better. Sometimes, her tummy seems to be so big that it anchors her down and her limbs just float in the air. It’s almost like she is trying to do the “airplane” like her cousin Liam.

Also, Toshi’s hair seems to be pretty curly after we wash it. The curl doesn’t hold though. It gets matted in the back (from her laying down) and turns kind of wild and wavy by the end of the day. I remember our college friends predicted that our kids would have crazy hair (and be short and blind).

I also put Toshi in her Bumbo. It seemed like she was having a hard time breathing because her belly was pushed up against the front part of it. I think she’s getting too big for it!
