Screamin’ Toe

Toshiko is definitely more vocal these past few days. She has been screaming (sometimes loud, sometimes soft) and grumbling. I think she is starting to give me a little attitude. She starts grumbing and gives me a stern look when I try to put her jacket on or put her down for a nap.

She is also rolling over all the time. She’ll flip to her stomach in an eye blink and then swim around until she gets frustrated and starts crying. That is our cue to flip her to her back. We try to let her figure it out, but I doubt she would once she hits the crying-face-down stage.

In this picture, her sock is barely hanging on. She was trying to stick her foot in her mouth but instead was pulling her sock to her mouth. Paul said he saw her get her foot to her mouth. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m sure I will soon. She is starting to hang onto her other leg too.

I also thought this was a little funny… She crosses her ankles a lot. What a lady!

And fun dad is playing Superman with her. It’s pretty hilarious with all of the sound effects.

Another exciting part of our weekend: watching The Wire! Heh… Paul T. came over Friday and Saturday night for episodes 1-4 of the 3rd season. When he came over on Saturday night, he brought over Toshi’s exersaucer that we stored at UB’s house. Paul put it together this morning while I slept on the couch. I think Toshi liked it for a little while.

Still no sign of the pox! 🙂
