Paul’s dream came true: a roommate to jam with.

I just hope she has Paul’s sense of rhythm. Some people call him “The Human Metronome.”

Anyway, this weekend was tops. We finally made it to Batman/Dark Knight, courtesy of AK/UD/Ks. We dropped Toshi off at my aunt’s and headed for the movie. I was a bit worried because I had heard so many good reviews and I hate to get my hopes up. Luckily, it met my high expectations, maybe even exceeded? It was so nice to see a great action movie in the theater that took advantage of the sound system. We’d never watch a movie that loud at home. I wonder when I’ll be used to the loud sound at movie theaters again…

We also watched a bunch of Mad Men episodes. Very good. We’re almost done with the first season. TV shows on DVD is a beautiful thing.

This week will be the calm before the storm. We have friends flying in this weekend, then Paul’s parents next weekend, then my parents the weekend after that! Toshi can’t wait to play with everyone and show them how she can zip around now. Good thing visitors = more eyes on Toshi!
