What’s up?

Not much is going on. I’ve just been enjoying a little bit of down time after our exciting weekend. I like hanging out with Toshi. I am pretty sure that for now, no one will really see what it is like when we hang out. Paul might see it a little, but usually when he is around, Toshi is too excited to be with her dad and doesn’t hang out with me. During the day we lay around and play. I generally try to get her to give me kisses, but usually it doesn’t happen. Today we played a little bit of ball. She is getting very good at throwing the ball. She’ll hold the ball in one hand, raise her arm back so far that she tilts her head back, and then launch it a whopping two feet or so. I’ve also been helping her practice using a sippy cup and eating with her fingers. She is making progress! When all else fails, we read books… over and over. I probably should get some more from the library.
Speaking of the library, we were just there. On our way there, I was disappointed to see one of the fun moms walking towards us. She said that her little baby was not in the mood for the library today. Nuts. Anyway, we sat where we did before (just like lunch in jr. high!) and talked a little to that cute boy and his mom that Toshi liked the first time around. The babies swatted at each other a bit and kept staring at each other. And there was this really cute BIG baby that was one year old. He was crawling so fast and when it was time to go, I noticed him walking around with our stroller! It’s always entertaining to see what the babies do.
Uncle Paul is a big hit with Toshi. She just loves him and is all smiles when he comes over for our dinner & dvd nights.
We finished Mad Men (Season 1). I think HBO does a fantastic job of creating characters that seem real.
That is it for now.
