Weekend of Sleep

I decided that a good way to pass the time waiting is to sleep. So I pretty much slept as much as possible this weekend. Slept in, took naps, went to bed early… you know the drill.

We did actually do stuff on Saturday. We ate lunch at PF Chang’s, which is one of my favorite places because Paul and I would go there in college and it felt like such a treat. Plus I got to eat both tofu lettuce wraps AND honey chicken! After lunch, we purchased a home theater sound system thing. Paul set it up while I took a nap, made dinner, ate dinner, washed dishes, and Swiffered the floors. I guess it takes a long time to set up. Plus he rearranged our living room furniture to create more of an open space for the baby.

So once it was set up, we decided to test it with Lord of the Rings. I think about 3 minutes into it, there was that battle scene and the sound blasted and the sub woofer shook the floor. Whoops. We kept turning it down… I guess maybe a sound system in an apartment building isn’t always the best of ideas?

Anyway, I’m finally getting into Harry Potter 7 again… probably because I’ve finally managed to reach the end. I blame Brain Age’s sudoku for keeping me distracted from HP. Now that I’ve solved all of the sudoku puzzles, I’m back to HP. Looks like I may finish it before the baby is born!

Aunt Karen had us over for dinner tonight. It was very delicious as always. Kristen even made an easy bake oven cake. Plus we got to see home videos of my cousin Katie when she was about 10 months old. Sooo cute! We need to get a camcorder soon.

I think that is pretty much our weekend. [Oh, Paul borrowed Luigi’s Mansion from his work and has been playing it all weekend. Paul and I enjoy imitating the whistled tune and Luigi’s yell for Mario. Good times!] My boss is in Japan for the next two weeks. Work should be pretty relaxed. Hopefully Laura and I can just hang out and have fun since I only have a couple of projects. She promised to bring in cupcakes too! 😛
