Paul’s Baby Vacation

Paul here. Inspired by Mark’s post, I suppose I should stop being lazy and post something. Anywho, I started my own baby vacation today, as I had to email work and let them know I wouldn’t make it in.

(To those who don’t know, I affectionately call Kara’s time off ‘baby vacation’. A poor nickname, perhaps, but I think it’s funny, mainly because it’s the antithesis of an actual vacation.)

We, (okay, Kara), had a lot of contractions last night, and I think she’s not going to be able to get around very well henceforth. I figured I’d start taking off work by tomorrow for sure, (as that’s when we go in and set up inducing), but after last night it seems like I should stay home and help out – or at the very least, stay home and bug Kara.

That’s it for now; I told Kara I would try to update the blog with one final post if we head off to the hospital, so everyone is abreast of the latest news. Be sure to drink your Ovaltine!
