Toshiko Anne Mealy

To all those who haven’t heard yet, we did indeed have our baby on Wednesday, November 14. Hurray! She was 7lbs, 6oz, and a pretty quick delivery.

Her name, (as the title indicates), is Toshiko Anne – Toshi for short. She’s named after her Grandma on Kara’s side. The name means “intelligent child” or “superior child”, or “child of the year”. Heh. I don’t think we knew all the meanings when we first named her.

Her middle name is also after a few of her favorite aunts….(out of her many favorite aunts).

Everybody is doing well; tired and sore, but that’s too be expected. I’ll try to get pictures posted to the blog later tonight.
