So much for my instinct

I thought I was going to have a baby today. It seemed like a good date: 11/11/07. Baby Honey decided not to show up. Even after all of the pineapple. Even after the eggplant parmesan. Even after the long walks. Even after I specifically told her what our game plan was. Maybe she is trying to teach me to be a patient parent.

But if she did come out soon (and she will) she could join the ranks of these fun peeps who have birthdays this week:

This weekend was pretty good. I feel like we are just waiting though. We did a lot of walking and it seemed like that was helping. Other than that, we pretty much read and ate and napped. I rescued some Halloween chocolate chip cookies from the grocery store. Paul made me super happy by cleaning the shower. I finished Glass Castle (borrowed from AP and I recommend it to anyone) and Paul finished Wicked for the second or third time. We talked to some relatives but had no exciting news for them. We stared at my belly, asking Monday? Tuesday? Wednesday? to see if she would move to indicate her birthday. (She moved a little for Wednesday.) That’s pretty much it! Another exciting weekend of a 40-week pregnant couple.
