Missing Paul and Tree

Posted by kara

Today Paul went back to work. I have been dreading this day, but luckily, I have Grandpa Mike and Grandma Lynn to help me at home.

Grandpa Mike sang little Toshi an Irish lullaby. She loved it and fell asleep. In fact, it seems she loves being held by her grandparents and calms down instantly and falls asleep. So I guess the trick is to get grandparents to stay and visit for as long as possible.

Lynn and I went out on some errands today. It was great to get out of the house and we managed to do it all in less than an hour. The day went by quickly and before I knew it, it was 5:30. (That is when I woke up from my nap.) Paul got home around 6:15 with groceries, mail, and a package from Jean & Brian. I was so glad to see him! And I don’t know how I’m going to get through the day without Mike and Lynn… (Actually, I do have a plan to get Aunt Karen over here to help ease me into being home by myself.)

Now we are on the hunt for our Christmas tree. Last seen in December 06 at the houseboat:

We have searched our tiny apartment and UB’s garage. Paul assures me that we would not have thrown it away. I hope we can find it soon so we can put up all the decorations. Well, the tree is the main decoration, followed by all the ornaments. So it’s really key in our decorating. :/
