Laid back

I look over at Toshi, and this is what I see:

My guard rail of pillows worked! Look at that belly! (Sometimes I worry that pants are too tight around her waist.) She also does this thing where she’ll go face down and bang her face into the ground over and over. I think she’s frustrated that she doesn’t know how to crawl. She can’t get up on her knees yet. Sometimes it looks like she is in the crawling position, but really one of her legs is twisted beneath her and as soon as she moves it out, she collapses flat on the ground.

So, not much has been going on. Hence, no posts. A typical day is this: Paul wakes up early with Toshi. I wake up at 6 and stay in bed for 15 mins. Feed Toshi bottle. Play. Try to get Toshi to nap. Feed Toshi bottle. Feed Toshi food. Try to get stuff done and play with Toshi. Feed Toshi bottle. Go for a walk. Feed Toshi bottle. Try to get Toshi to nap. Go for a walk or get stuff done around here. Start dinner. Feed Toshi food. Paul comes home and plays with her, I finish dinner and chores. Feed Toshi bottle, put her to bed. Eat dinner, do a crossword or get stuff done, watch one or two episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Yup… that’s about it!

Today we are going to meet Laura for lunch. Can’t wait! I hope Toshi sleeps through it so we can get some good talking done!

And tomorrow I’m going to dinner and a play with Mandy! It will be fun to be out and about.

Oh yeah, Paul got a Wii Fit. We aren’t convinced that it will be fun, but hopefully it will prove us wrong. I watched Paul try it out last night (I was too busy to try it b/c I was eating my ice cream) and it looked like Wii Sports to me. It might be fun… we’ll see. I find that I only play video games in spurts. I want to bust out the DDR, but I don’t want the people below us to get too annoyed.

Anyway, here are some more pics of our baby buster. She is so rolly lately that it is hard to get anything done like changing her diaper or her clothes!
