The past week has been pretty nice. I haven’t really had to wear a jacket. Yesterday was sunny and warm. I couldn’t believe that it was the end of October.

Toshi and I walked around and took pictures of pretty colors. I also snapped some of us walking because I felt like if anyone saw us, they would think I was being creepy/spyish with all of my picture taking.

This is my favorite color combination. It’s nicely offset by a rusty van.

Then there was this delicate, wispy, vibrant tree.

I took a few others, but …eh.

When we came home, I liked Toshi’s expression:

Everytime I look at her, I try to figure out what she will look like when she gets older. It’s hard because she has so many different looks. But I think she’ll look like how she does when she laughs. And anytime there is music on, she starts rocking/dancing. It’s so fun!

We also went to a pumpkin carving on Sunday. The pumpkins were almost as big as Toshi!

Last night we stopped by brother Paul’s work for their open house. It was fun to get out of the house and go downtown. When I saw all the hip girls walking around, I felt very SAHMy. But I guess I’ve never really been that hip! Anyway, it was fun to see Paul’s new work place and interact with the touch screen he has been working on. We didn’t stay long, but I still managed to eat some of the appetizers!

Toshi must have been pooped from the extra hoopla at the end of her day. She slept in until 7:30 today! But it might have also been because she woke up for a bit at 2am. I have gotten to the point where I am no longer functional in the middle of the night. I heard her crying and kept thinking I should get up, but I think I fell asleep. Not sure if I fell asleep before or after Toshi stopped crying… yikes!

Tomorrow we have a Halloween street walk thing. We’ll just go to Market Street and see all the kids in their costumes. I have made Toshi’s costume and she puts up a big fight when I try to put it on her. Not sure this looks promising. Either way, I’ll be posting pics soon!
