Jamie’s engaged!

And it’s my brother’s 31st birthday! Happy birthday, David.

Jamie gave me permission to spread the word, so I hope she meant I can post about it too. [If not, this post will be edited.] The elusive (just to Paul and me) Mark proposed to Jamus in Central Park a couple days ago. Yay! We are sooo excited and patiently awaiting a detailed blog and pics. Weddings are the best! Congrats, Mark– you are a very lucky guy!

In other exciting news (heh), Toshi has mastered more music buttons. She now can press the Glow Worm’s music button and she can also press the music button on her stacking star thing. This is very good because now she can keep on happy-dancing without getting frustrated and throwing the object at my head.

She also is enjoying sitting on things.

If she keeps this up, I think she’ll really take to potty training.

And for some reason, she does a lot of face dives. Sometimes she’s clever and uses her stuffed animals to break her fall. Other times, she just flat out dives into the floor. We have to really watch her on the hardwoods… Maybe she’s just an EXTREME baby.
