Water Water Everywhere

Toshi and I water the plants on the back patio at least once a day. She loves helping out and walking SLOOOOW with the halfway filled watering can. (That’s how she says it.) I water the plants, then she helps fill the watering can using the hose. I think she would rather water the patio or her shoes, but I try to make her put the hose in the watering can.

Today was a bit colder out and she still wanted to pour water on herself. She found a drip and stuck her shoes underneath. She also stuck her hands and her head under it. When I showed her how to collect the water from the drip with the watering can, she poured it onto her belly.

I like Toshi’s hoodie and designery watering can. I also like that she’s tight-rolling her jeans a la 1990.

hahha– no no no! they aren’t tight rolled. (although i have tried that on her.) they came rolled and stitched so they get all wrinkled.

Toshi is learning quickly. Last Friday, I saw her carefully fill up her watering can and slooowlly water…water her feet, water the sidewalk, water the hose. The ground seems to be growing very well. Thank you Toshi!!
