Toshi decided a looooong time ago that she wanted to be Pixel for Halloween. I am actually surprised that it never changed. If she had it her way, we’d all be characters from LazyTown. So this year, even fewer people knew who she was. In fact, it may just be one dad who knew who she was. He said it was “dope” and he was dressed as DJ Lance. So maybe they watch Nick Jr. as well. Anyway, we tried. (And I’m proud of Toshi for choosing a unique costume that she loves.)

And Martha was a jack-o-lantern…

Now I can lay my Ewok-costume-craving to rest. (Probably.)

We went to good ol’ Ballard for trick-or-treating on Market Street. I think this was the last year of Market Street for us though. It was so chaotic and Toshi didn’t really get the experience of saying “Trick-or-Treat”. It was more like the people would shove candy into their pumpkin pails so that everyone could move along.

And this year we got one group of trick-or-treaters! Good thing I bought a bag of KitKats!
