It makes me laugh to myself when I hear Toshi trying to parent Martha.

“If you don’t stop crying when Mommy wipes your nose, I’m going to take away the wand.”

“Okay, you have 10 more seconds with the wand and then you have to share it.”

So maybe Toshi just wanted the wand (it’s actually a pinwheel), but I think it’s funny when she says things that I say to her.

I know Anita has talked about this, but I love when the girls show affection for each other. Especially when Marf initiates it. Toshi knows she is supposed to love her sister and be kind to her. Martha doesn’t know. She just loves who she loves. So when she points to Toshi, reaches out for a hug, and then snuggles easily with her sister, it fills me with joy. I love a good hug from Marf, but I love it more when she hugs Toshi. I want them to love each other like crazy and always be there for one another. I know it’s early to be thinking of that, but that is my hope for them.
